Thai Dance
This is an example of Thai Dance, one of the classes I am taking. I know it doesn't look too hard, but you'd be surprised. It's a graceful dance...I am not graceful...

Kali,
So i went to the bookstore and looked at a map - caution - no excursion to Mynmar a/k/a Burma! I didn't realize that you were right on the border. Also in flipping though TV channels last night I saw moments of Lara Croft Tomb Raider and some of the scenes and sence of place from your photos.

kali i belive that is just like your hippy dancing but a slower style
-just a helpful tip
Cool pants Kali but are they Thai Silk? A must have to combat the heat, however they may not be for practice in the dance. Liz
This looks COMPLETELY IMPOSSIBLE for Americans. Very subtle, complete movements, awareness of every finger and toe as individuals, subtle eye & head movement - plus, the women in the movie have been doing it since... well, probably IN UTERO, so that makes it even more difficult do do well at it seeing that you are 20 years behind.
(Little known secret - I find the "word verification" portion of leaving comments to be a great challenge)
